By using the Wisconsin Insurance Plan online payment system the insured is authorizing the Wisconsin Insurance Plan’s online payment processor, ACI Payments Inc (formerly known as Official Payments), to directly debit their bank or credit card account for the requested payment amount.
For credit card payments, a $5.89 fee is charged in addition to the premium payment.
For debit card payments, a $2.60 fee is charged in addition to the premium payment.
And for checking or savings account payments, a $2.26 fee is charged in addition to the premium payment.
This fee is separate from the primary obligation being paid. It will appear on the insured’s credit card or bank statement as a separate charge.
